Early this morning a Russian oil refinery in Kaluga Oblast had a full 30 minutes warning that a Ukrainian drone was headed their way. The drone arrived right on time to hit the facility …. unmolested and with devastating effect. What air defense doing? Nothing. The drone just merrily flew in. Kaluga Oblast, in case you want to know is just a few kilometers south of the city of Moscow itself. That’s how ineffective Russian air defense is in the face of the now regular Ukrainian drone assaults on one of their most important national industries … petroleum refinery.
